Andrew Moore Biography American photographer Andrew Moore has garnered widespread recognition for his captivating photographic series. Spanning various locales and themes, Moore’s work masterfully captures the passage of time on both natural landscapes and built environments. Andrew Moore has a portfolio that includes extensive projects in Cuba, Russia, Bosnia, Times Square, Detroit, the High Plains, the American South, and, most recently, the Hudson Valley. Andrew Moore was born in 1957 in Old Greenwich, CT. He pursued his education at Princeton University with a focus on photography. After finishing school in 1979, Moore moved to New Orleans, where he focused his camera on the disappearing industries of the city, such as broom factories and coffin carpentry shops. His notable publications include Blue Alabama, featuring a preface by Imani Perry, and a story by Madison Smartt Bell, released in 2019.
