Self-trained photographer Bastiaan Woudt traveled to Mukono, Uganda, in October 2017 to take photographs for the Marie-Stella-Maris Foundation, which seeks to provide clean and safe drinking water for people around the world. The trip resulted in a striking series of monochrome portraits and images of the local landscape.
Woudt’s photographs are currently on view at Atlanta’s Jackson Fine Art gallery through September 7.
