There are dreamy homes… and then there are Dream Homes™. Prop stylist and cookbook author Annette Joseph is lucky enough to live in two of them. One is a renovated medieval fortress in northern Tuscany (she writes about the renovation in her newest book, “Italy is My Boyfriend“), where she hosts cooking workshops and conducts creative retreats (when there’s not a global pandemic happening) among wooden beams, terracotta floors, and old stone walls. Her other Dream Home is this large-and-bursting-with-style house in Atlanta she’s lived in and decorated for the last 20 years.
Biggest Indulgence: My World of Interiors magazines; they are costly but I can’t give them up and I never get rid of them. And our photography and art: We have a big collection of black and white photographs, all figurative. My husband and I both love our collection. Our favorite place to find amazing photography is Jackson Fine Art in Atlanta. They represent the best photographers. Mona Kuhn is one of favorites. Other items I really love: My Swedish bench in the foyer, my vintage glass collection, my black Spanish side table, and my antique Italian picnic table that we use as a dining room table
